How to Manually Import FIT Files?

Edited

If you’ve completed a session using a device that isn’t currently integrated with Vekta, you can still easily import your FIT files to keep your training data complete. Here’s how to do it:

Two Easy Ways to Import FIT Files

1. Drag and Drop onto the Calendar

You can drag your FIT files directly onto the Vekta calendar:

  • Single file: Drag the file anywhere on the calendar. The view will automatically shift to the date of the session.

  • Multiple files: Drag up to 10 files at once. Vekta will take you to the earliest date among the selected files.

2. Use the Import Icon

  • Navigate to the Calendar view.

  • Click the import icon located at the top left of the calendar, just to the right of the “Today” button.

  • Browse your computer to select and upload up to 10 FIT files.

What Happens Next?

  • Allow a few seconds to a couple of minutes for your sessions to process, this varies by file size.

  • Once processed, Vekta will automatically detect and classify your intervals, ensuring your session data is fully integrated and ready for analysis.

  • If you're uploading a large history of sessions, contact us at support@joinvekta.com so we can reprocess your data and ensure your performance metrics are as accurate as possible.

Import Limitations

  • You can import up to 10 FIT files at a time.

  • Make sure your files are in the standard .fit format for optimal compatibility.
