The Zones tab shows how your session time was distributed across intensity zones for Power, Pace and Heart Rate.

Why it exists

Session titles and averages can hide the real shape of a workout. Zones help you quickly verify:

  • whether an endurance ride was truly easy

  • how much time you spent at Tempo / Threshold / VO2

  • whether heart rate matched the intended intensity (or drifted)

How it works

Vekta bins every data point in the file into a zone, then totals the time spent in each zone.

Each panel includes:

  1. A bar chart showing time spent per zone (longer bar = more time).

  2. A zone table listing:

    • the zone name

    • the range (e.g., watts or bpm)

    • the total time accumulated in that zone during the session
