Training Zones

Edited

Vekta gives you two flexible ways to manage training intensity across each sport:

  • Adaptive Training Zones (automatically updated)

  • Custom Zones (fully tailored by you)

๐Ÿ” What Are Vekta Adaptive Training Zones?

For cycling, Vekta uses a seven-zone model built around Vekta-specific terminology. These zones automatically adjust daily based on your athleteโ€™s latest performance data, giving you real-time, personalized intensity guidance.

โœ๏ธ How to Create Custom Zones

Prefer a tailored approach? You can define your own training zones for Power, Heart Rate, or Pace.

  1. Open the Athleteโ€™s Profile: Choose the sport you'd like to configure (e.g., cycling, running).

  2. Go to the athlete's Zones section: click on the settings icon.

  3. Customize Each Zone: Assign a color, name, and range to each zone based on your preferred model.

  4. Save Your Settings: Click Save to apply your custom zones.

๐Ÿ“Š How Zones Are Used in Vekta

Training zones play a key role across the platform:

  • They guide Vektaโ€™s AI-powered session generator to build appropriately structured training. Learn more here

  • They feed into the Insights section, where you can analyze training distribution and intensity trends over time.
