Vekta Volume offers a precise understanding of session demands, enabling athletes and coaches to gauge energy expenditure and physiological strain. Unlike other metrics, Vekta Volume adjusts for body weight, ensuring fair comparisons between riders of different sizes and highlighting true progress over time—regardless of performance improvements (unlike Training Stress Score® - TSS®).
How It’s Calculated
Vekta Volume accounts for key factors like session duration, total energy output (measured in kilojoules), and body weight. Incorporating these variables ensures an accurate and unbiased representation of training load, avoiding common pitfalls that can favor certain rider profiles.
