Flowbio
Flowbio is a wearable sweat sensor that measures how much fluid and sodium you lose during a session. Vekta pulls that data into your session files so you can see your hydration and electrolyte losses alongside every other stream.
1. What is Flowbio?
Flowbio is a sensor worn on your upper arm or paired with your heart rate chest strap. It samples your sweat continuously through a session, tracking fluid and sodium loss in real time rather than relying on a single pre-race sweat test.
2. What You Can See in Vekta
Fluid Loss (L)
Vekta displays your fluid loss in litres alongside your session stream data, so you can see how much water you lost as the session progressed.
Sodium Loss (g)
Vekta also displays your sodium loss in grams for the same session, giving you a picture of your electrolyte losses alongside your fluid loss.

3. How to Save Flowbio Data on Your Device
Please note that Vekta can only display Flowbio data that has been recorded by your head unit. To make sure your Fluid Loss and Sodium Loss fields are available in Vekta:
Use a head unit that can pair with your Flowbio sensor and is set up to record its data fields.
Make sure your activity file includes the saved Flowbio fields.
