Workspaces
Workspaces are the foundation of how Vekta organizes coaching relationships, training data, and communication. They keep collaboration clean and separated—whether you’re managing multiple teams or working with more than one coach.
What is a Workspace?
A workspace is a dedicated environment where coaches and athletes interact. Each workspace is usually tied to a specific coaching business, team, or training group.
For coaches: you can belong to multiple workspaces (e.g., different squads or businesses).
For athletes: you can be part of several workspaces (e.g., different coaches, teams, or clubs).
What is My Training?
My Training is your personal, private space in Vekta.
Review your full training history, sessions, and performance analysis.
Use Vekta without a coach (self-guided training).
If you work with a coach, sessions from their workspace also appear in My Training, so your personal view stays complete.
Switching Between Workspaces
Use the top-left dropdown to switch between workspaces.
Workspaces stay separated so it’s clear which coach/team a session belongs to.
Training plans and sessions can be visible across workspaces so coaches you work with can access your training.
Coaches can’t edit sessions created in another workspace.
Creating a Workspace
Go to Settings, open Workspaces, and select Create a Workspace.
Enter a name for your new workspace.
Invite athletes and coaches to join.
Inviting Staff Members
Open the workspace.
Go to Settings → Staff Members.
Click on Invite Staff Members.
Enter the coach’s email.
Choose their role: Admin or Coach.
Staff roles
Admin: full permissions (invite/remove athletes and coaches, manage workspace subscription, edit all sessions, and delete the workspace).
Coach: can invite athletes, create sessions, and edit all sessions.
Inviting Athletes
Open the workspace.
Go to Settings -> Athletes.
Click on Invite Athletes.
Enter the athlete’s email.
Removing Athletes
Open the workspace.
Go to Settings → Athletes.
Click the remove icon next to the athlete.
If you cover the athlete’s subscription, your account will be credited for any unused time.
Leaving a Workspace
Open the workspace.
Go to Settings → Workspace Profile.
Click Leave this workspace.
You can only leave if you are not the only Admin in the workspace.
Deleting a Workspace
Open the workspace.
Go to Settings → Workspace Profile.
Click Delete workspace.
You can’t delete it if you are the only Admin (add another Admin first). Only Admins can delete a workspace.
Pause a Workspace
To pause a workspace, cancel the workspace subscription. All data stays in place and becomes available again when you reactivate the subscription.
💡 Tip: Workspaces keep training organized and collaborative — but My Training is always your private view of your full history, no matter how many workspaces you belong to.
